The State Educational Establishment of Higher Professional Education Russian State University of Trade and Economics PERM INSTITUTE (BRANCH)

The Russian State University of Trade and Economics is one of the leading universities in Russia that trains qualified specialists and cooperates with a number of European establishments. It has 27 branches all over Russia.
The Perm Institute is a multilevel educational establishment providing higher professional education, secondary education, and advanced training courses. More than 4,000 students take courses at our Institute. The Institute teaching staff includes 63.4% of Candidates and Doctors of Science. They develop the main trends in the Institute staff scientific work. Professors and students of the Institute participate in national and regional scientific conferences and different competitions. Annually, the Institute publishes collected scientific articles and holds international, regional and interuniversity conferences and seminars.
The graduates do not have problems with the employment, promotion and setting up their own companies. They are invited to work for the best trade companies and restaurants of Perm region.
The Perm Institute is a cofounder of «Education in Commerce Association. Its purpose is to coordinate the activity of educational establishments in student professional training in trade and catering. The basic idea of the Association is the continuous professional education, i.e. high school-college-university-postgraduate school.

BACHELOR  DEGREE

For more than 45 years the Institute has been training the highly qualified specialists for trade enterprises of the city of Perm and its region within 3 faculties on the following specialities:

• Commerce;
• Food Technology of Catering;
• Commodity Research;
• Economics;
• Management.

There are two departments at the Institute: full-time and correspondence.
The Institute has the advanced training department. Annually hundreds of specialists in trade improve their professional skills here. We also provide additional training courses for specialists in trade and restaurant business.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

The Institute is interested in establishing new contacts and partnership with universities overseas, exchanging information, organizing seminars, arranging professors and students exchange visits.
